BOMA Rochester holds 11 events during the year for both members and guests. Membership dues include the cost to attend eight of these meetings and members receive discounts at the others. Meetings are usually lunches on the third Wednesday of the month BUT we suggest you check the schedule and enter it in to your calendar as some meetings are at different times.

Regular programs include presentations by the Mayor and County Executive, Vendor Fair with IREM, a Building Tour focusing on both building systems and commercial leasing challenges faced and how they were overcome, and always, what would be done differently with hindsight. State legislator Joseph Morelle is an annual presenter at our Fall Legislative meeting, and the Commercial Real Estate Review in September is an in-depth, tell it like it is program.

I find the member meeting program to be very interesting and timely. The information is helpful in my day to day work as a Building professional. I also enjoy and find most beneficial the networking prior to and during the lunch. Getting to know my fellow members, the work issues they face and how they solve them, reassures me that I am not alone with what I deal with on a regular basis. Camaraderie and helpful associates is a great benefit of BOMA.
