| What are the benefits of international membership? |
| BOMA International membership is included with all primary memberships to BOMA of Greater Rochester. Along with lobbying and legislative efforts to support the commercial real estate industry, networking opportunities with members of chapters in most all major cities in the US and many around the world provide an endless resource for members. |
| How much does it cost to be a member? |
| BOMA Rochester has five membership levels. However, the first member of a company is required to be either a Principal Building Professional or
Principal Vendor member before a Secondary Building Professional or Vendor can join. A membership

| What happens at the monthly meetings? |
| The local chapter of BOMA holds monthly meetings throughout the year. Aside from some special events such as building tours of local points of interest and a golf tournament, the monthly meetings focus on a subject matter that is of interest to the building professions. Monthly meetings are usually luncheon meetings with the cost of the meeting included in the membership dues. |
| I have an idea for a program, what should I do? |
| The program chairperson is listed on the home page with contact information, please feel free to contact them with any idea or point of interest you may have. |
| What are the advertising options open to a vendor member? |
| BOMA offers a range of marketing and advertising opportunities. These include Advertising in the Membership Directory, BOMA Briefs Newsletter, Monthly Meeting sponsorships, and the Golf Tournament sponsorships. A listing of the costs and deadlines can be located by clicking here. In addition, you can also participate in our annual Vendor Fair event. |
| How would BOMA membership help us and our business? |
| BOMA provides benefits and advantages in many areas. We provide a forum for people in commercial real estate to share ideas, compare experiences and network with peers. We provide presentations by professionals in associated fields with the latest information on products, security, restoration and other topics. We provide education opportunities your staff, with accredited programs targeted for our industry. And finally, we lobby for support of issues which directly affect commercial property owners. |
| As a BOMA member, what would I be required to do? |
| The BOMA organization is here to serve you. Through your support, we provide information on relevant topics, organize education opportunities, promote legislative issues that affect our industry, and provide social events with peers. You don't need to do anything else, but we hope you will take advantage of the many services we offer. There are also opportunities to work on committees, or with the Board, to better our organization and have direct input on BOMA operations. |

| BOMA International dues, local dues, Meeting and meal costs at seven regular meetings; discounts at four others, notification of all programs, priority at BOMA golf outing (requires good response by you), BOMA International publications, quarterly BOMA Rochester newsletter, BOMA Directory, password for access to the member areas of our web site, discounts at BOMA International events and publications. |
| Can I see a membership list? |
| A printed Membership Directory is available to members, advertisers, affiliated organizations' offices and designated government officials. When a person joins BOMA they receive this Directory and have access to BOMA membership web site directory. |
